2017: BlueJeans' Year in Review

The BlueJeans team was hard at work in 2017, and it’s been a year of exciting achievements for the company. From new features to new integrations to new leadership, we've continued to focus on fostering collaboration for our customers, improving workflow, and making it simple to meet with confidence. Here's a look back at the numbers:

But outstanding growth is about more than just the numbers! Here are some highlights from the past year. In 2017, BlueJeans…

  1. Partnered with Dolby for Superior Meeting Experiences
    Ensuring high-quality sound is consistently available, across all environments, helps prevent audio issues and leads to more effective meetings. With the addition of Dolby Voice to BlueJeans, all video meetings now feature clearer and more natural sounding audio. 
  2. Implemented support for 15,000 Attendees, Polling, and New Moderator Controls for BlueJeans Events
    Every BlueJeans product saw feature enhancements this year, but BlueJeans Events leads the way in feature releases. Notable additions include support for up to 15,000 streaming attendees, and the introduction of polling brought another way to interact with attendees during events. Plus, with the new moderator dashboard, administrators have more tools than ever to ensure events run smoothly. 
  3. Integrated with Workplace, LinkedIn, Panopto, and Voicera
    We're streamlining workflow by adding integrations with the tools you already use. This year, we announced integrations with Workplace by Facebook so you can share meetings directly to Workplace for archiving, commenting, and later viewing. LinkedIn Sales Navigator will populate BlueJeans video meetings with essential background information from LinkedIn to make meetings more productive. Plus, with tools like Panopto and Voicera, you never need to spend your meeting taking notes—they'll do it for you.
  4. Welcomed Quentin Gallivan as CEO
    Great expansion comes with great leadership, and this year we had the privilege of welcoming 'Q' to the team. In August, Quentin joined BlueJeans as CEO, and Co-Founder Krish Ramakrishnan formalized the role he was born to play as Chief of Innovation and Strategy and Executive Chairman. 
  5. Earned Recognition in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Meeting Solutions
    Gartner is one of the world’s leading research and advisory firms, and the Gartner Magic Quadrant showcases industry-leading companies for their ability to meet customer needs. This year, Gartner named BlueJeans a 'Visionary' in the Magic Quadrant for Meeting Solutions, indicating that the product has important, unique, and/or well-developed technical capabilities, as well as key innovations that point to the future of the market.
